Freelance Project Manager: refurb and furnishing
Homes for Good is Scotland’s first social enterprise lettings agency dedicated to improving access to high-quality housing within the private rented sector for those on lower incomes.
We are looking for an experienced project manager with a creative eye and experience in property void turnovers. This role focuses on managing small refurbishment projects and staging furnished flats for the rental market, ensuring stylish and comfortable homes for our tenants. You’ll work closely with our Design Manager, who will share the design concept and budget at the beginning of each project.
Main Duties
- Project manage property turnovers to meet our high-quality design standards.
- Instruct works ensuring costs meet the project budget and timescales.
- Attend project site visits with our Design Manager at key sign-off stages.
- Ensure all programme milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Liaise closely with contractors throughout each project to ensure compliance with design standards and regulatory guidance.
- Effectively manage and coordinate site deliveries and installation.
- Maintain detailed project cost information.
What You’ll Need
- A full UK driving licence with access to your own car – most of our properties are in and around the North and East of Glasgow.
- Experience in interior styling and design.
- Experience in managing property refurb/turnover projects.
